Charge speed 120Kwh? Why not 200, 250 or 350?

The Ultium platform allows much higher charging rates on other vehicles. The Hummer can put it's batteries in series and charge at 350 Kwh at 800 volts.
Why is the Zevo limited to 120? My guess is cooling the battery during charging.
I would gladly pay extra to charge at 200, 250 or 350.

Hey @John Forde welcome to the forum! The 120 kWh charging is definitely designed to keep the battery healthy for as long as possible. It's a more usable charge rate as well as there aren't a lot of chargers right now that can delivery 350 kWh charging speeds.

What do you plan on using your BrightDrop for?

Thanks Electric Avenue! My ZEVO will ve a personal vehicle. I am making peace with the 120 KwH charge rate but I am very much hoping for a charging curve that holds above 100 KwH to 60% SOC. Do you have inside info? I am also looking for an event/test drive this fall. Thanks EA!
